About CogniCity 2026

As urban populations grow and city infrastructures become increasingly complex, cognitive cities are emerging as the next frontier of urban intelligence — environments where agentic AI systems autonomously perceive, reason, and act to optimize city operations in real time.

CogniCity 2026 brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore how agentic AI, underpinned by digital twins, edge intelligence, and trustworthy autonomous systems, is transforming urban environments.

The workshop targets self-managing, resilient, and human-centred urban ecosystems — capable of anticipating disruptions, coordinating multi-domain responses, and continuously adapting to the evolving needs of their citizens.

All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore through AICCSA 2026 proceedings.
